A fintech company automating accounts payable and global payments simplifies its sales enablement stack, swapping a former LMS that was "overkill" for its size for a lighter Juno hub built around live, instructor-led training.

Tipalti's sales and operations enablement teams were running on a former LMS that had turned out to be more than they needed. "There was a lot of bells and whistles," Christopher says, "and even though it was user-friendly, the admin side was pretty cumbersome." Cost was a factor too: "They really felt we were paying for more than we needed, and we wanted something a little simpler."
That cumbersome admin experience meant nearly every request- a new course, a new journey- was funneled through Christopher personally. He documented steps for the team to follow on their own, but "they still never quite embraced it, or felt comfortable, and they'd always come back to me." Some got partway there and then got stuck. Everything, and every fix when something went wrong, came back to one person.
Juno gave Christopher's team a system simple enough that documentation actually stuck. He wrote instructions once, and this time the team followed them with, in his words, "very few problems." When Tipalti's live-training-heavy sales org needed its Zoom sessions to record and land automatically back in the same course space, Juno built that connection quickly: "you guys made that happen really quickly," Christopher says, "so from a sales perspective, that was a huge win and really convinced us that we made the right choice."
That same simplicity carried into a full rebrand of Tipalti's onboarding program, now built as role-based journeys instead of one general session for every sales hire.
Where course and journey requests used to mean a meeting with Christopher, his team now handles most of it on its own. "I got very few phone calls or meetings on my calendar," he says. "Nine times out of ten, they don't need any help. Everybody's become pretty self-sufficient in there... it did give us a lot of time back."
Juno's integration with Tipalti's roleplay tool, Hyperbound, has gone well enough that Christopher says it "may cause us to decide not to renew" some of the standalone tools they've layered on top of Juno. On his own team's side, he's focused on getting deeper into Juno's reporting, both for himself and to help sales managers pull their own reports without needing to ask.
“The thing that I think I have to say was most impressive about Juno is your ability to be nimble and flexible and work with us.”
“We're kind of like that story of Goldilocks and the three bears. We tried the first one, and it wasn't enough for us. We tried the second one; it was too much for us. And now we're here, and it's just right.”
